Domen Prevc wins in Willingen as Geiger returns to the podium
A 155-metre final jump gave the Slovenian a twenty-two-point victory.

Domen Prevc won the men’s World Cup contest in Willingen with 264.2 points from jumps of 146.5 and 155 metres. His final effort was half a metre short of the hill record and secured a twenty-two-point margin over Ren Nikaido.
Karl Geiger finished third with 237.8 points, his first individual World Cup podium since December 2024. The German improved his opening 140.5-metre jump to 142 metres in the final round and held off teammate Felix Hoffmann.
Prevc’s tenth World Cup victory of the season extended his overall lead to 538 points. Geiger’s home success came after he had missed Germany’s Olympic selection deadline, making the return to form an emotional achievement before an enthusiastic crowd.
