Domene’s four goals power Argentina to an 8–0 win in India
Australian sides also collected points against Germany and Ireland in Hobart.
Source publication date:
Tomás Domene scored four times as Argentina defeated India 8–0 in Rourkela. The comprehensive away result stood out during the latest Pro League matchday, with the Argentine forward providing half of his team’s goals against the tournament hosts.
Australia’s men defeated world champions Germany 3–0 in Hobart to make it two victories from two at their stage. The home side controlled the opening half and converted their attacking opportunities efficiently against an opponent unable to find a response.
The Australian women drew 0–0 with Ireland before winning the shootout and collecting the bonus point. Those results gave the official daily report three different outcomes: Argentina’s high-scoring regulation victory, a men’s shutout for Australia and a women’s contest settled through the additional shootout.
