The Easton Sports Development Foundation donated $1.4 million to the USA Archery Foundation to support participation and athlete development. USA Archery said the grant would reach programmes from grassroots instruction through national team performance preparation across the United States.
The announced spending priorities include instructor education, youth programmes, training centres and support for national coaching and performance leadership. Funding will also strengthen the wider high-performance programme, providing resources for athletes at different stages of their development.
The gift recognises Jim Easton’s contribution to archery, including 16 years leading the international federation. Foundation representatives said the investment was intended to expand access, develop athletes and coaches and sustain opportunities for participation, alongside the preparation of competitive national teams.
