Egypt wins the 2026 African mixed-team judo title
Egypt took gold ahead of Tunisia, while Algeria and Cameroon shared bronze in Nairobi.
Event date:
Egypt won the mixed-team competition at the 2026 African Senior Judo Championships in Nairobi. The official IJF result records Tunisia as the silver medallist and Algeria and Cameroon as the two bronze medallists.
Angola and Congo shared fifth place, with South Africa and host Kenya seventh. Eleven countries registered 109 judoka for the six-category team format on 26 April.
The mixed-team event followed the two-day individual championships but awarded a separate continental title. It is therefore treated as its own championship result in the historical archive.
