Brady Ellison and Alexis Ruiz led the headline scores as USA Archery’s Indoor Nationals and JOAD Indoor Nationals opened in Phoenix. Ellison recorded 1,184 in senior men’s recurve, 36 points ahead of Jackson Mirich.

Ruiz scored 1,183 in senior women’s compound, finishing 19 points ahead of Toja Ellison. Ellison and Ruiz each placed more than 100 of their 120 arrows in the ten ring, recording 104 and 103 tens respectively.

Robby Weissinger led senior men’s barebow with 1,092, ahead of Eric Bennett on 1,035. Kenneth Brunko’s 1,168 was the weekend’s leading men’s compound score despite competing in the 50-plus category. The series opened with the 2–4 January Arizona meeting.
