Elvira Oeberg seals an Oberhof sprint-pursuit double
Hanna Oeberg joined her sister on the podium after a late charge.

Elvira Oeberg led throughout the women’s 10km pursuit in Oberhof and won in 31:38.5. Her single missed target came in the second prone stage, and she closed all ten standing targets to complete the weekend double.
Suvi Minkkinen also incurred one penalty and finished second, 16.6 seconds behind. The Finnish athlete retained the pursuit leader’s red bib. Hanna Oeberg took third, 1:04.5 back, after a clean final standing stage and a fast closing loop.
Julia Simon had remained in podium contention but three misses at the last shoot allowed Hanna Oeberg past. Franziska Preuss finished fifth, while Justine Braisaz-Bouchet climbed from thirty-first at the start to sixth. Elvira’s previous sprint-pursuit double had come in Pokljuka.
