Nine players will make their first appearance in the tournament.
Source publication date:
Emma Hayes named 26 players for the United States Women’s National Team’s 2026 SheBelieves Cup squad. The February 17 selection includes three goalkeepers and 23 outfield players, with nine players preparing for their first appearance in the tournament.
Eleven selected players were absent from January’s training camp, and thirteen return from the previous SheBelieves Cup roster. The tournament expanded squad limits from 23 to 26, although coaches must select 23 players for each matchday.
The Americans will face Argentina in Nashville on March 1, Canada in Columbus on March 4 and Colombia in Harrison on March 7. Hayes described the schedule as useful preparation for the World Cup qualifying campaign later in 2026.
