England and Afghanistan secure Under-19 World Cup semi-final places
Wins over New Zealand and Ireland completed their Super Six campaigns.

England and Afghanistan qualified for the Under-19 World Cup semi-finals after winning their final Super Six matches. England defeated New Zealand by 65 runs in Bulawayo, while Afghanistan beat Ireland by 191 runs in Harare to join Australia in the last four.
Manny Lumsden took five for seventeen as New Zealand was dismissed for 169 chasing England’s 234 for seven. Ben Mayes made 53 and Caleb Falconer 47, providing runs on a surface that tested the batters.
Afghanistan’s 315 for seven was built around Faisal Khan’s 163 and Mahboob Khan’s 89. Ireland managed only 124 in reply, with Abdul Aziz and Aqil Khan each taking three wickets to complete the decisive victory.
