England men win Ismailia qualifier as Japan and Malaysia book world cup places

England won the men's World Cup qualifier in Ismailia by defeating Pakistan 4–1 in the final. Both finalists had already qualified, and England completed the tournament with Henry Croft, Sam Hooper and Ben Fox providing the goals.
Hooper scored twice from penalty corners. Japan claimed bronze with a 5–4 comeback against Malaysia, producing three goals in five fourth quarter minutes after trailing. Koji Yamasaki scored twice during that decisive sequence.
Japan's result secured direct World Cup qualification, while Malaysia advanced as the highest ranked fourth placed team across the qualifying events. China recovered to beat host Egypt 4–3 and finish fifth, completing a closing day that settled both medals and the final qualification position from the tournament.
