Source publication date:
World Aquatics announced the opening session of its 2026 Masters Education Programme: a free online webinar on 26 May at 12:00 CEST. The session addressed shoulder health and prehabilitation for participants across swimming, diving, water polo and artistic swimming.
Masters Committee chair Nadine Day was selected to deliver the session, combining experience as a Masters swimmer and coach with a professional background as a physician. The advertised programme included complementary training approaches such as yoga and Pilates.
The federation planned further webinars on women’s health, osteoporosis and nutrition, with dates still to be confirmed at publication. The April news concerned the educational programme and speaker appointment; it did not establish clinical findings or completed injury-prevention outcomes.
