England beat Bangladesh by seven wickets to move closer to the Under-19 World Cup semi-finals. Sebastian Morgan took three for 28 as Bangladesh were dismissed for 136, before Thomas Rew’s unbeaten 59 helped complete the chase in 24.1 overs.

Sri Lanka defeated Afghanistan by four wickets in Windhoek, handing their opponents a first tournament loss. Afghanistan made 193 despite Osman Sadat’s 61, and Chamika Heenatigala’s unbeaten 22 helped Sri Lanka negotiate a tense finish in the chase.

The United States also ended its campaign with a seven-wicket victory over Scotland in the placement bracket. Adnit Jhamb scored an unbeaten 116 and shared a 129-run partnership with captain Utkarsh Srivastava as the Americans chased 237.
