England women reach Hyderabad semi-finals as Scotland holds India
England's 3–0 win over Korea secured progression on the qualifier's second matchday.

England secured a women's World Cup qualifier semi-final place in Hyderabad with a 3–0 victory over Korea. Lily Walker converted a penalty stroke before Elizabeth Neal and Grace Balsdon added penalty corner goals in the third quarter.
The match coincided with Balsdon's hundredth England appearance. Italy recovered from its opening defeat by beating Austria 3–0, with Federica Carta, Lola Brea and Eleonora di Paola scoring, leaving Austria without a route into the final four.
Pool B produced a 2–2 draw between India and Scotland that kept both teams in contention. Uruguay defeated Wales 3–2 after recovering from an early deficit, ending Welsh semi-final hopes. The day's results left the remaining places to be settled in the last pool round.
