Esbjerg record their first Champions League win against Győr
Nora Mørk led a historic home performance as Podravka also secured play-off entry.

Esbjerg recorded their first women’s Champions League victory over Győr in the penultimate group round. The Danish hosts built an eleven-goal half-time advantage against the defending champions, who had already secured direct entry into the quarter-finals before the match.
Nora Mørk scored thirteen goals and was named Player of the Match. She combined with Henny Reistad for twenty-two goals, while goalkeeper Anna Kristensen finished with sixteen saves. Győr improved after the interval but could not overturn the substantial early deficit.
The same day brought victories for Brest and CSM Bucuresti in group B, keeping both in contention for direct quarter-final places. Podravka secured a play-off berth as the remaining group-stage decisions moved towards the final round.
