European Aquatics opens learn-to-swim certification process
Federations can begin programme assessment with a February information meeting planned.
Source publication date:
European Aquatics opened its learn-to-swim programme certification process to organisations that had not yet begun assessment. The initiative sits within Swim Safe Europe and aims to support structured swimming education, lifesaving skills and water safety across the federation’s member countries.
The announcement made certification documents available, including an application form, frequently asked questions, a spreadsheet form and a declaration of commitment. It follows the previous year’s programme certification work, which will be recognised during the annual Swim Safe Europe conference.
An online information-sharing meeting was arranged for 17 February at 17:00 Central European Time through Microsoft Teams. The session would allow federations to raise questions about the requirements and clarify the practical steps needed to enter the certification process.
