Five disciplines will be staged in Slovakia and Austria with an integrated inclusion model.
Source publication date:
European Aquatics opened registration and confirmed the programme for its 2026 Masters Championships, running from 18 to 30 August. Swimming, open water and water polo will take place in Šamorín, artistic swimming in Bratislava, and diving in Graz, linking three cities across Slovakia and Austria.
Šamorín will serve as the central hub, using the X-Bionic Sphere complex and an adjacent canal. The other venues provide facilities tailored to artistic swimming and diving, with the coordinated format intended to keep travel between disciplines manageable.
The federation also introduced a full inclusion model. Athletes with disabilities will compete within the main programme and operational structure, with entries placed according to their official times rather than a separate parallel competition arrangement.
