Ferizaj prepares Kosovo senior championships

Kosovo’s National Senior Individual Championships were scheduled for 28–29 March in Ferizaj. Matches at Astrit Bytyqi Sports Hall were set to run from 10:00 to 18:00 each day, bringing the country’s leading senior players together for the national title programme.

Fatih Karabaxhaku entered the season as the standout from the previous championships, where he won men’s singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles. He partnered Blend Hajdari in the men’s event and Taibe Ruli in mixed doubles during that successful campaign.

Leoresa Imeri was the defending women’s singles champion, while Shega Hashani and Alma Mehmeti had won women’s doubles. The announcement also highlighted family participation in the previous competition, including two father-and-son doubles partnerships.
