Ferrari revealed the SF-26 at its Maranello headquarters as it prepared for Formula 1’s major technical reset. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton remain the drivers, with Fred Vasseur continuing as team principal for the new campaign.

Vasseur highlighted the breadth of the changes, which cover the chassis, engine, battery, tyres and sporting regulations. He said the team would need to remain flexible as the opening part of the season revealed the strengths and weaknesses of different design approaches.

The launch came before the private Barcelona shakedown. Ferrari hoped the new project would help end its long championship drought: its most recent constructors’ title came in 2008 and its last drivers’ crown in 2007.
