Four rising players reach new WTA ranking highs
The latest update also brought Sinja Kraus into the top hundred after Dubai and lower-tier events.
Source publication date:
Iva Jovic, Alexandra Eala, Janice Tjen and Antonia Ruzic reached career-high rankings after their Dubai campaigns. Jovic rose to eighteenth, Eala to thirty-first, Tjen to thirty-sixth and Ruzic to fifty-first, with each having been outside the top hundred a year earlier.
Sinja Kraus entered the top hundred for the first time at ninety-nine. Her rise made three Austrian players part of that ranking group for the first time since February 2011, alongside Anastasia Potapova and Julia Grabher.
The update also reflected first WTA 125 titles for Daria Snigur, Dominika Salkova and Alina Charaeva. Charaeva climbed to a career-high 138, while Snigur and Salkova moved closer to their previous peaks.
