France and Wales men claim final Santiago semi-final positions
France drew with Chile, Wales beat Scotland, and Chile's women upset Australia in the day's combined qualifier programme.

France and Wales completed the men's semi-final field in Santiago after the final pool matches. France's 3–3 draw with host Chile secured first place in Pool A, while Wales defeated Scotland 5–0 to advance in second.
Ireland topped the other men's pool with a 4–1 victory against already qualified Poland. Louis Rowe, Lee Cole, Benjamin Walker and Matthew Nelson scored in separate quarters, while Canada defeated Korea 7–2 to finish third in that group.
The women's programme brought important wins for France and Chile. France beat Switzerland 2–1 to remain in contention, and Chile upset Australia by the same score. Those results kept three teams competing for two women's semi-final places while Switzerland's hopes ended.
