Furlani jumps 8.33m to win in Paris
His opening indoor meeting also brought Randazzo a sprint personal best.

Mattia Furlani opened his indoor season with an 8.33-metre long-jump victory at Paris’s Accor Arena. His second attempt moved him above Kennedy Stringfellow’s 8.29 on the early world list.
Furlani followed with four more jumps beyond eight metres: 8.18, 8.22, 8.27 and 8.20. Bozhidar Saraboyukov finished second with 8.15, ahead of Thobias Montler on 7.97. The winning mark remained below Furlani’s indoor best of 8.37.
Filippo Randazzo ran a 60-metre personal best of 6.59 for third, meeting the World Indoor Championships standard. Kelly Doualla finished fourth in the women’s final in 7.28, behind winner Patrizia Van der Weken in 7.16.
