Heybeliada secure last men’s Challenger Cup quarterfinal place
A last-second equaliser and shootout victory completed the eight-club field.

Heybeliada claimed the last men’s Challenger Cup quarterfinal place after drawing 16–16 with Mouscronnois and winning the shootout 5–4. Nadir Sonmez equalised with one second remaining in regulation, keeping the Turkish club’s qualification hopes alive until the penalty contest.
Goalkeeper Deniz Kaleagasi saved four penalties during the extended shootout, including the decisive Belgian attempt in the eighth round. Heybeliada joined fellow Turkish clubs Enka and Galatasaray in the Final Eight after recovering from a late two-goal deficit.
Sliema beat Zaibas 12–10 and San Giljan defeated Maribor 21–19 to finish first in their respective groups. The completed quarterfinal field also included Vitoria, with Zaibas and Maribor advancing alongside the three Turkish and two Maltese clubs.
