India, Scotland and Italy completed the women's semi-final field at the Hyderabad World Cup qualifier. England had already advanced and finished Pool A with a third consecutive win, defeating Austria 2–0 through Grace Balsdon and Holly Hunt.
Italy drew 1–1 with Korea and progressed on goal difference after both teams finished on four points. Federica Carta scored Italy's penalty stroke, while Jiyun Choi replied from the spot for Korea, whose required winning goal never arrived.
Scotland defeated Uruguay 3–1 with two late Katherine Holdgate goals, securing second place in Pool B. India topped that group with a 4–1 victory over Wales, led by Navneet Kaur's hat trick. The results settled the knockout pairings and ended the eliminated teams' qualification hopes.
