Source publication date:
ETTU announced HYLO as title sponsor of the men’s Champions League for the next three seasons. The agreement places the eye-care brand associated with URSAPHARM alongside Europe’s leading club table tennis competition, adding a multiyear commercial partnership to the league.
URSAPHARM was founded in 1974 and maintains its roots in Germany’s Saarland while operating internationally. Its sporting partnerships already included major teams and events across football, gymnastics, handball, darts and ski jumping before the table tennis agreement.
The competition originated as the European Cup of Champions in 1960 and adopted the Champions League structure in 1998. Its final four format was introduced in 2024, providing the concentrated season-ending event now supported by the new title sponsorship.
