The IBU announced its 2026 Development Info Day for 25 March, offering two online sessions so national federations could join at different times. The schedule provided morning access from ten until noon and an afternoon session from three until five, both using Central European Time.
The agenda included development project principles for 2026/27, financial support for national projects and material distribution. Further topics covered federation camps, the Biathlon 4 All programme, International Biathlon Day and education through the IBU Academy, alongside regional and national events.
Para biathlon development activities and upcoming opportunities formed another part of the information programme. Participants were asked to register in advance, with joining instructions supplied through confirmation emails before the online meeting.
