IJF launches international junior and cadet Grand Prix events
Dushanbe and Tashkent tournaments will pair competition with training camps.

The IJF announced two international youth Grand Prix tournaments to extend its competitive pathway beyond annual age-group world championships. The new events were designed to give junior and cadet judoka experience within an IJF competition framework.
The Hoji Sharif Dushanbe Junior Grand Prix was scheduled for 24–25 October, followed by a camp on 26–28 October. The Saber Tashkent Cadet Grand Prix was announced for 24–25 November, with its camp on 26–28 November.
The tournaments were to offer prize money and combine competition with joint training for athletes and coaches. This June report covers the official launch and announced dates, which remained future events at publication rather than completed tournament results.
