India qualified for the men’s T20 World Cup Super Eights by defeating Pakistan by sixty-one runs in Colombo. Early wickets from Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah put Pakistan under pressure, and Axar Patel removed Babar Azam before later ending Usman Khan’s recovery.

West Indies also advanced unbeaten after defeating Nepal in Mumbai. Jason Holder took four wickets for 27, helping restrict Nepal’s innings. Captain Shai Hope made an unbeaten 61 and Shimron Hetmyer contributed 46 as the Caribbean team completed a comprehensive chase.

The United States kept its qualification chances alive with a convincing victory over Namibia in Chennai. The three results sharpened the group-stage picture, giving India and West Indies assured places in the next phase while the Americans continued to pursue a route beyond their initial group.
