InYA project develops practical tools for inclusive youth sport
Partners in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia used judo and an inclusive camp to test their work.

The IJF highlighted the InYA project’s work to support young people who can be overlooked by conventional sporting structures. The two-year Erasmus+ initiative studies the needs of children and adolescents, including those with autism, ADHD and other less recognised conditions.
Four organisations from Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia collaborated through interviews and professional workshops. Their aim was to develop practical approaches that improve confidence, motivation and lasting participation, using judo as a central educational activity.
The tools were tested at an inclusive camp in Rakitna, where children took part in judo, swimming, climbing and creative activities. The partners planned to share their findings through a peer-reviewed article and wider dissemination of the project’s outcomes and camp video.
