Jones sets junior barebow world mark as US indoor tour expands
The February update confirmed a 544 single-round record from Owensboro and further national marks.

Ava Jones established a barebow under-21 women’s world record with a single-round score of 544 at the USA Archery Indoor Nationals stop in Owensboro. The federation’s February update also reported national double-round records for Jones in junior and senior women’s barebow.
Thirteen-year-old Boston Shelley scored 1187 in fixed pins under-15 men, including a record single round of 594. Brayden Craft produced a new under-18 men’s single-round mark of 599. The Owensboro event ran from 30 January through 1 February.
USA Archery reported the records while previewing the tour’s busiest week, with competition across six states. The season contains 18 events, and final combined results determine national titles and prize payments, with the paid positions expanded to the top ten.
