Juventus Women took a 2-1 advantage from the first leg of their Italian Cup quarter-final against Napoli Women. Amalie Vangsgaard opened the scoring and Cristiana Girelli converted a late penalty to decide the away match in Campania.

Vangsgaard’s seventeenth-minute opener followed a defensive error under pressure. Napoli responded after the interval through Cecilie Fløe, while Danielle de Jong made saves that prevented the hosts from taking control of the tie.

With the game approaching its final minutes, Juventus were awarded the penalty that Girelli scored. The result left the visitors ahead before the return leg in Biella, with a league meeting against Parma also scheduled between the two cup matches.
