Juventus Women defeated Napoli Women 2-1 in Biella to reach the Italian Cup semi-finals. The second-leg score matched their first-leg victory and completed a 4-2 aggregate success, setting up a meeting with Fiorentina.
Cristiana Girelli came on after a quiet first half and scored with her first touch from Chiara Beccari’s delivery. It was also her 237th Juventus appearance, moving her level with Arianna Caruso at the top of the club’s all-time list.
Lindsay Thomas added the second in the eightieth minute, rounding goalkeeper Beatrice Beretta before finishing. Napoli reduced the deficit from a corner late in the game, but Juventus had already built the advantage that secured their place in the last four.
