Kaufhold moves to top of US indoor rankings after Lancaster
A score of 1172 lifted the Olympic medallist above GNoriega in recurve women.

Casey Kaufhold moved into first place in the USA Archery Indoor Nationals recurve women’s standings after scoring 1172 at her home range in Lancaster. Her total surpassed Catalina GNoriega’s previous leading mark of 1162, with Alex Zuleta-Visser remaining third.
Kaufhold said this was her first tournament following substantial form changes after the Lancaster Classic. Her four rounds produced 290, 294, 295 and 293. Elsewhere, Gaius Carter scored 1194 to move into second in compound men, between Kyle Douglas and Sawyer Sullivan.
John Demmer III reached sixth in barebow men with 1080, and Abigail Sparpaglione entered fourth in barebow women with 1014. Seven of the season’s 18 events remained, leaving further opportunities for the combined national standings to change.
