The Wolfhounds beat the Clovers 24–7 at Creggs RFC to return to the top of the Celtic Challenge table. Erin King and Fiona Tuite each played twenty minutes on their injury comebacks as the champions secured another bonus-point win.
Aoife Dalton and Robyn O’Connor scored before half-time, while Jemima Adams Verling replied for the Clovers to reduce the deficit to 12–7. Maggie Boylan and Eve Higgins added second-half tries, with Higgins finishing a forty-metre solo run.
Dannah O’Brien converted twice, and scrum-half Aoibheann Reilly was named player of the match. King’s appearance was her first since suffering a knee injury against England the previous April, a setback that had kept her out of the 2025 Rugby World Cup.
