Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo won the men’s classic sprint in Goms, posting the fastest qualifying time and winning every knockout round. His decisive acceleration on the final uphill left the other finalists well behind before he eased toward the finish.

Gus Schumacher placed second, 2.64 seconds back, after passing Edvin Anger in the home straight. Anger finished third at 4.77 seconds, while Simone Mocellini took fourth. Schumacher earned his fourth individual World Cup podium and second podium of the weekend.

Klaebo had not raced since winning the Tour de Ski three weeks earlier and arrived from altitude training the previous day. The result was his eighth World Cup victory of the winter and a strong final sprint test before Milano Cortina.
