Atle Lie McGrath won the men’s slalom in Wengen in 1:45.99, defending the title he had claimed a year earlier. He carried a clear first-run advantage into the deciding leg and stayed ahead despite Lucas Pinheiro Braathen’s strong challenge.

Braathen finished second, 0.47 seconds behind, and Henrik Kristoffersen took third at 0.81 seconds. Kristoffersen became the fourth man to reach one hundred World Cup podiums, adding another milestone to Norway’s successful afternoon.

McGrath became the first skier to win consecutive Wengen slaloms since Clement Noel in 2019 and 2020. He also took the slalom standings lead with 372 points, ahead of Braathen’s 351, after previous leader Paco Rassat failed to finish.
