The federation's March review reports fifty-two per cent growth from the 2024 championship.
Source publication date:
EHF reported nearly 1.2 billion digital reach for the Men's EURO 2026, surpassing one billion for the first time. The measurement covered federation, player, broadcaster and partner channels around the tournament in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, rather than a count of unique spectators.
The federation said reach increased fifty-two per cent compared with the 2024 edition. EHF channels added 171,000 followers, while monitored content generated 243 million video views and three million engagements during the reporting period from 12 January to 8 February.
The reported digital media value for championship partners reached EUR 11.2 million, up 115 per cent. EHF media director Thomas Schöneich identified broader content distribution with stakeholders as a factor and said future tournaments would strengthen that coordinated approach.
