The released Miami Open draw placed Florida residents Coco Gauff and Amanda Anisimova in the same quarter. Both entered seeking a first quarterfinal at the event, with Belinda Bencic and Indian Wells semifinalist Linda Noskova among the other seeded players in their section.

Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka received a first-round bye and was drawn to open against Ann Li or a qualifier. Jennifer Brady and Sloane Stephens were paired in the first round, with the winner scheduled to meet Zheng Qinwen.

Elena Rybakina’s section included Naomi Osaka and Iva Jovic, while the opposite quarter contained Iga Swiatek, Alexandra Eala, Mirra Andreeva and Victoria Mboko. The full draw brought the entire world top ten to Hard Rock Stadium for the second major Sunshine Swing tournament.
