Georgia, Chile and USA maintain winning Nations Cup starts
Spain and Portugal recover as Uruguay and Romania draw 36–36.

Georgia beat Samoa 33–12, Chile defeated Hong Kong China 38–17 and the USA overcame Zimbabwe 31–15 in the Nations Cup’s second round. All three winners followed up their opening-round victories.
Portugal responded to its first-round defeat with a 38–14 win over Canada, while Spain beat Tonga 32–19. Raffaele Storti and Guilherme Vasconcelos each scored twice for Portugal during a decisive second-half attacking display.
Uruguay and Romania finished level at 36–36 in Montevideo. Uruguay hooker Joaquin Myszka scored a hat-trick, but neither side found a winning score in the closing exchanges, leaving both still seeking a first tournament victory.
