New Zealand sweep Oceania recurve podiums in Auckland
The hosts led the championship standings across three bow disciplines.

New Zealand swept both individual recurve podiums at the Oceania Target Championships in Auckland. Ben McLean won the men’s title ahead of Mitchell Osborne and Finn Matheson; Julia Harrison led Isabella Matthews and Nuala Edmundson in the women’s competition.
The hosts also won both compound individual titles through Riku Van Tonder and Lisa Walker. Australia secured the barebow individual golds with Adam Sims and May Hu, showing that the championship results extended beyond the recurve events.
New Zealand collected all three mixed team titles, in recurve, compound and barebow. The championship attracted 83 archers from ten nations, with competitors facing difficult wind conditions on home soil.
