A field of 1,357 archers includes twenty-six athletes from the four elite top tens.
Source publication date:
The twenty-eighth Nimes Archery Tournament is scheduled for January 16 to 18 at Le Parnasse, with 1,357 archers from fifty countries entered. World Archery’s preview identifies the meeting as the circuit’s only thousand-point event before The Vegas Shoot.
All defending Nimes champions return, including the barebow winners. Twenty-six of the forty athletes ranked in the top ten across elite recurve and compound categories are entered, with Brady Ellison, Mathias Fullerton and Andrea Becerra among the world number ones competing.
The schedule places qualifying sessions on Friday and Saturday, followed by elite and youth finals on Sunday. With no Indoor World Series Finals in this season’s format, the large allocation of ranking points gives the French meeting additional significance in the overall standings.
