Source publication date:
Norway won the men’s 4x7.5km relay in Oberhof in 1:20:29.1 after recovering from a difficult second leg. Isaak Leknes Frey, Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, Martin Uldal and Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen recorded two penalties and seven spare rounds.
Dale-Skjevdal’s two penalty loops had left Norway eleventh, but Uldal brought the team back into contention. Christiansen then fought Eric Perrot through the closing loop and gained the advantage on the finishing straight, securing Norway’s third relay victory of the season.
France also recovered from two penalties to finish second, 2.6 seconds behind. Sweden claimed third at 3.8 seconds, with Italy and Germany within six seconds of the winning team. Christiansen dedicated the result to the absent fifth member of Norway’s group.
