Pakistan completes Super Eight field as India stays unbeaten

Pakistan secured the last men’s T20 World Cup Super Eight berth by defeating Namibia by 102 runs in Colombo. Sahibzada Farhan scored his first T20I century, finishing on one hundred from 58 balls and becoming only Pakistan’s second men’s World Cup centurion.
India completed an unbeaten group stage with a seventeen-run victory over the Netherlands in Ahmedabad. Shivam Dube made 66 from 31 balls as India reached 193 for six, then bowled the final over to contain the Dutch response and finish the match.
South Africa also ended the opening stage unbeaten after beating the United Arab Emirates by six wickets in New Delhi. The target of 123 was reached in 13.2 overs, with Dewald Brevis and Ryan Rickelton supplying a forty-nine-run partnership after both openers fell during the powerplay.
