Pegula and Muchova rise in WTA Finals race
Rybakina remained first after the Middle East tournaments reshaped the season standings.

Jessica Pegula moved into second place in the WTA Finals race after winning Dubai, while Doha champion Karolina Muchova climbed from thirteenth to sixth. Both players added one thousand points through their WTA 1000 titles, strengthening their positions in the season-long qualification standings.
Elena Rybakina remained at the top after her Australian Open title and Doha quarterfinal. Middle East finalists Elina Svitolina and Victoria Mboko also advanced, occupying fourth and fifth respectively as the tour prepared for its March events.
Anna Danilina and Aleksandra Krunic led the doubles race after collecting 1,390 points during the swing. Dubai champions Gabriela Dabrowski and Luisa Stefani rose to second, ahead of Elise Mertens and Zhang Shuai.
