Source publication date:
Celeste Polzonetti ran a personal best of 8.14 in the 60-metre hurdles in Spokane, Washington. The 20-year-old finished second after first reducing her best to 8.22 in the heat.
Her previous best was 8.29, giving her a total improvement of fifteen hundredths. FIDAL placed the UCLA student fourth on Italy’s under-23 all-time list, behind the national age-group record of 8.05.
The result followed a 2025 outdoor season in which she ran 13.08 over 100-metre hurdles and narrowly missed the European Under-23 final. In a separate US competition reported in the same federation update, Virginia Scardanzan cleared 4.40 in Reno to match her indoor pole-vault best.
