Cajasur Priego reached the men’s Europe Cup semifinals after winning a golden match against HB Ostrov. The Spanish club carried a 3–1 home advantage into the return, but Ostrov won by the same margin in Czechia to force the extra deciding contest.
Vladislav Ursu supplied two return-leg points against Diogo Carvalho and Robert Gardos. Pavel Sirucek defeated Carlos Machado, while Gardos’s five-game win over Jiri Vrablik provided Priego’s only point before the additional match.
