Rast ends Shiffrin’s slalom streak in Kranjska Gora
The Swiss world champion completed a two-race weekend double.

Camille Rast won the women’s slalom in Kranjska Gora by 0.14 seconds over Mikaela Shiffrin. The Swiss athlete led by a tenth after the first run and answered Shiffrin’s strong second leg to end the American’s five-race winning streak this season.
Wendy Holdener finished third for her first slalom podium in ten races, narrowly ahead of Paula Moltzan. Rast’s success followed her first giant slalom victory the previous day and doubled her career World Cup win total to four.
Further down the standings, Noa Szollos finished twenty-eighth to earn Israel’s first Alpine World Cup points. Lara Della Mea and Dzenifera Germane also achieved career-best results in sixth and seventh respectively on the Podkoren course.
