Real Madrid defeated Levante 2-0 at the Bernabéu, finding both goals after a closely defended first half. The victory was the club’s fifteenth league win of the season and came with Álvaro Arbeloa in charge.

Kylian Mbappé converted a penalty in the 58th minute after Dela fouled him. Seven minutes later, Raúl Asencio headed in Arda Güler’s corner to extend the lead and reward Madrid’s increased pressure after the interval.

Franco Mastantuono hit the crossbar and goalkeeper Mathew Ryan made several late saves to keep the score down. Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Júnior and Mbappé all threatened again, but the two-goal advantage proved sufficient as Madrid prepared for their next Champions League fixture.
