Ana Maria Rendon won the women’s individual recurve title and mixed team gold with Felipe Gomez Zuluaga at the Grand Prix of the Americas in San Salvador. Colombia finished with eight medals, including three golds, to lead the standings.

Guatemala won the women’s recurve team final against Colombia in a shoot-off, leaving Rendon with team silver. Julio Alfredo Barillas Aragon took the men’s compound individual title for Guatemala, while Chile’s Andres Aguilar and Aurora Olea Prado won men’s recurve and women’s compound gold.

The competition also qualified archers for the Central American and Caribbean Games. Colombia had already secured its places through Santo Domingo in 2025; the San Salvador results therefore represented competitive preparation as well as medals.
