Rhein-Neckar Löwen partnered with Frauenhaus Mannheim during their home match against Bergischer HC on International Women's Day. The German club used its arena and digital channels to support the local shelter and counselling organisation for women and children affected by domestic violence.

Players wore specially designed purple shirts, with ten per cent of proceeds from the empowerment jerseys designated for the shelter. An information stand allowed spectators to learn about local support services, while a pre-match video featured players voicing accounts from affected women.

Marketing lead Stephanie Schreieder described the project as part of the club's continuing social initiatives. Löwen also worked with SAP Arena on the nachtsam prevention programme, linking the matchday campaign with broader efforts to encourage respectful behaviour and safer conditions at events.
