Riga schedules Latvian national title weekend
Kogans and Klimanova return as defending singles champions for the March event.

The Latvian National Championships were scheduled for 21–22 March at the sports hall of O. Kalpaks Riga Folk-Art Primary School. Play was set to begin at 11:00 on both days, with the women’s singles final followed by the men’s final on Sunday afternoon.
Daniels Kogans entered as defending men’s champion and a previous winner in 2022. His challengers included former champions Arturs Reinholds and Olegs Kartuzovs, alongside nineteen-time national singles winner Sandijs Vasiljevs, maintaining an experienced field in Riga.
Six-time champion Natalija Klimanova led the women’s contenders. Sabina Musajeva, Baiba Bogdanova and previous finalist Aleksandra Jersova were also highlighted, with the title matches scheduled for 13:45 and 14:30 respectively.
