Rybakina reaches world number two as Gibson enters top hundred
The post-Indian Wells rankings also lifted Eala and Bucsa into the top thirty.

Elena Rybakina rose to world number two for the first time in the post-Indian Wells WTA rankings. The finalist moved above Iga Swiatek after a strong sequence including titles in Ningbo, Riyadh and Melbourne, having been ranked thirteenth the previous July.
Talia Gibson made her top-hundred debut by climbing forty-four places to sixty-eighth after reaching the Indian Wells quarterfinals as a qualifier. Alexandra Eala and Cristina Bucsa also entered the top thirty for the first time, at twenty-ninth and thirtieth respectively.
Victoria Mboko reached a career-high ninth position and Elina Svitolina moved to eighth. Lower in the list, Anhelina Kalinina gained sixty-two places to 127th after two Antalya WTA 125 titles, while Lanlana Tararudee’s Austin championship lifted her to 106th.
